Arsenal Respond In The Right Way And Take It Out On Sunderland

Arsenal went in determined to make fans forget what happened a few days back. They dominated the entire game and showcased some impressive plays which would have made even Bayern’s players be impressed. Giroud and Wilshere managed great performances with the Frenchman scoring twice during the first half.

The Gunners had to win as Chelsea got in a late goal earlier today against Everton and secured a win which keeps them on top of the Premier League. With a bit of luck Arsenal could have made it to first place if not for Everton’s lack of concentration in the dieing minutes.

Wenger did a great job at motivating his players who dominated the game right from the start. Giroud was the man to watch as he looked more focused than ever. Despite having to deal with personal problems, the Frenchman took full advantage of his chances and found the net after a nice assist by Wilshere. He then slipped the ball between Mannone’s legs after some sloppy defending by Sunderland.

Arsenal’s third goal was really something. Wilshere, Giroud and Rosicky left Sunderland defenders baffled after some incredible passing action which found the Czech midfielder in front of goal. He chipped the ball over Mannone in what was probably one of the best goals the Gunners have scored this season.

Laurent Koscielny also scored after finding himself alone in the box during a corner kick nicely executed by Cazorla.

Sunderland scored a late goal from just outside the box. With 10 minutes to go, Emanuele Giaccherini’s excellent shot went right into the bottom left corner giving Szczesny no chance for a save but stil overall it was an excellent result and most importantly the Gunners got back to winning ways in convincing fashion.
