Arsenal Readying Summer Bid For £15m Rated Turkish Ace After Watching Player ‘Extensively’

Arsenal scouts have been watching Feyenoord attacking midfielder Orkun Kokcu “extensively” over the last eighteen months, according to the Daily Mail.

The Turkish Under 21 international has impressed the Gunners with his performances in the Eredivisie and it is believed the London club are preparing an offer for the player ahead of the summer.

Feyenoord are reportedly willing to sell Kokcu but they have set an asking price of £15m for the 19-year-old. The midfielder came through the academy at the Dutch club and he was born in the Netherlands, but he has opted to play for the country of his parents.

This season, the teenager has been in good form, having scored three goals and contributed four assists in 29 appearances for his club.

Kokcu’s performances have, though, attracted the interest of clubs in Spain, and Arsenal are said to be keen to snap up the player by making an early bid to head off the competition.
