Arsenal Prepare Move For Madrid Star

According to Metro, Arsenal have been informed that they must prepare an offer of at least £25 million in the summer in order to begin negotiations over a move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

Arsenal’s biggest weakness this season has been their lack of attacking options, and their recent loss at the hands of Stoke City was a testament to the fact. Even though the passing remains slick as ever, the final finish is what haunts Arsene Wenger’s hopes of winning the Barclays Premier League. The Gunners have been linked with various strikers for the summer, and there will surely be a revamp as far as that department is concerned. Nicklas Bendtner will most certainly leave the club, and will make way for one or two high profile strikers.

Morata has been left out of Carlo Ancelotti’s first team more often than not this season, and the Spanish under-21 star will seriously consider his future in the summer. With Gareth Bale’s world record fee in the books, Florentino Perez will look to recover some of the money with Morata’s sale in the summer, and will not settle on a bargain fee.
