Arsenal Predicted XI vs Liverpool

Arsenal face Liverpool on Monday night hoping for their first home win of the season. The Gunners lost 2-0 to London rivals West Ham on the opening day of the season, but have since gone onto beat Crystal Palace rather convincingly. Liverpool are one of only 4 clubs with a 100% record, and one of 3 with 2/2 clean sheets so far this season.

Arsenal tend to get the better of Liverpool in this fixture, with Liverpool only managing one win at Arsenal in 15 years.

The Gunners will be without Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck once again, but they have no fresh injury concerns or suspensions.

Liverpool could be without their captain Jordan Henderson, who limped off during their game with Bournemouth last week. They will also be without Joe Allen, Daniel Sturridge and Jon Flanagan.

Arsenal’s line-up against Palace was very solid, and Wenger will probably set-out extremely similarly in order to ruin the Red’s 100% start to the season.

Francis Coquelin walked a very tight rope against Palace, and arguably could have been sent off. He will keep his place in the side and is likely to start alongside Ramsey in front of the usual back 5.

Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up:

Bellerin – Mertesacker – Koscielny – Monreal

Ramsey – Coquelin

Alexis – Ozil – Cazorla
