GK – David Raya
There have been rumours that Arteta is considering dropping Aaron Ramsdale to give the summer signing a run in the side.
While the club’s current number one hasn’t done a lot wrong, there are a couple of reasons why Raya may be favoured in matches going forward.
Ramsdale’s save percentage is just 55.6%, having let in 4 goals from just 9 shots on target. His kicking game has also been way off in the opening weeks of the campaign.
In contrast, Raya is excellent with his feet and he needs to be given a chance to show what he can do at some point.
