Dowman and Eze To Start; Rice, Raya Both Benched: Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Port Vale

Arsenal are preparing for a Carabao Cup match against Port Vale on Wednesday night, after their draw against Man City.

The Gunners drew 1-1 with Pep Guardiola’s side on Sunday after they managed to salvage a point due to Gabriel Martinelli’s 93rd minute goal. However, it leaves them five points behind league leaders Liverpool, and looking to get back to winning ways against Newcastle next weekend.

However, before then, Arsenal open their Carabao Cup campaign with a trip to Stoke to play against League One side Port Vale. The third-tier club are currently battling relegation, sitting 19th in the division, and hoping to pull off a shock against Arsenal.

Considering that the Gunners play Newcastle over the weekend, Arteta would be expected to rotate his team, and potentially give some younger players a chance. Press the next page to see our predicted lineup for the Gunners on Wednesday night…
