Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – the Spaniard has looked a bit nervy in recent games. He needs to regain his composure.
RB – Cristhian Mosquera – the 21-year-old is more solid defensively than Ben White, so he could keep his place after starting against Sporting midweek.
CB – William Saliba – both the Frenchman and Gabriel will have a job on their hands keeping Erling Haaland quiet.
CB – Gabriel – City have a lot of firepower, especially on their right side with Antoine Semenyo, so the Brazilian will need to keep an eye on the winger when he cuts inside, as well as tracking Haaland’s movements.
LB – Piero Hincapie – the Ecuadorian returned to start against Sporting, so he should be ready to play the full 90 minutes at the Etihad.
