Midfield
CM – Declan Rice – Arsenal have managed to dominate the midfield battle against the Reds in recent fixtures and the 26-year-old has been an important part of that success.
CM – Martin Zubimendi – the 26-year-old has had his ups and downs in his first couple of games and it will be interesting to see how he copes with the cauldron at Anfield.
AM – Martin Odegaard – the captain is a doubt with a shoulder problem but most expect him to be fit to face the Reds.
Forwards
RW – Noni Madueke – with Bukayo Saka ruled out for up to 4 weeks, the summer signing will get a chance to play in his favoured position.
ST – Viktor Gyokeres – his brace against Leeds will put him in a great frame of mind heading into such a big match.
LW – Eberechi Eze – the attacking midfielder does usually prefer to play in central areas, but the absence of Saka could mean that he’s handed his first appearance on the left flank.
