Arsenal Plotting Loan Swoop For Out Of Favour Barcelona Ace

Arsenal are weighing up a loan offer for Barcelona winger Malcom, according to reports in the Spanish media.

Barca are said to be keen on selling the Brazilian outright for €40m (£36m), recouping the amount they paid Bordeaux last summer.

However, Malcom is not convinced by the clubs who are willing to pay his asking price, leaving the Gunners with the opportunity to swoop in.

The London club have a limited transfer budget and would be prepared to loan the 22-year-old with an option to buy at the end of the season.

It seems as though Barcelona will take a lot of convincing, especially with the La Liga side looking to raise funds for the return of Neymar.

Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is apparently Arsenal’s primary target to strengthen in wide areas but they may go back in for Malcom if a fee cannot be agreed for the Ivorian international.
