Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – 8/10 – the Spaniard made several great saves – two in the first half from Luis Diaz and Curtis Jones, as well as one late on to keep out Virgil van Dijk.
RB – Ben White – 5/10 – he struggled to contain Cody Gakpo in the first half but he did improve in the second half, even forcing a save from Alisson.
CB – William Saliba – 4/10 – the centre-back fell asleep for the first goal, and he then kept Dominik Szoboszlai onside and failed to track Diaz for the second.
CB – Jakub Kiwior – 6/10 – the Polish international’s lack of pace was evident in the build-up tp the second goal but he still outperformed Saliba.
LB – Myles Lewis-Skelly – 5/10 – the teenager couldn’t handle Mo Salah in the first half, getting a booking for his troubles, but he kept at it and improved as the match went on.
