Arsenal Player Ratings V West Ham – Four Players Get 4/10 While Three Others Get 5

It was a very disappointing performance from Arsenal against West Ham on Thursday night.

A lot of the talk after the game was about the decision to award Jarrod Bowen’s goal but the Gunners’ overall performance was simply not good enough. See our player ratings for the game:

Goalkeeper and Defence

David Raya – 7/10 – saved a penalty but had no chance with either of West Ham’s goals.

Ben White – 5/10 – out of position for West Ham’s opener but delivered an excellent ball from which Jesus should have scored.

William Saliba – 6/10 – didn’t do anything wrong and not to blame for the two goals that were conceded.

Gabriel – 4/10 – poor for West Ham’s opening goal, as both he and Zinchenko went for the same ball. Was also beaten in the air by Mavropanos for the second.

Oleksandr Zinchenko – 4/10 – involved in the mix-up for Soucek’s goal, and he was wasteful in possession too.
