GK – David Raya – 6/10 – the Spaniard had very little to do, with Slavia’s one shot on target coming when they were already 3-0 down.
RB – Jurrien Timber – 6/10 – defensively solid but the fullback didn’t really get involved as much as he would have liked on the ball.
CB – William Saliba – 7/10 – dealt well with striker Tomas Chory, who tried and failed to use his physicality to get the better of the centre-half.
CB – Gabriel – 8/10 – the danger the Brazilian poses from corners directly led to the penalty, and he also made a crucial intervention at the other end as he cut out a dangerous cross into the box midway through the second half.
LB – Piero Hincapie – 6/10 – Arteta wanted to test the Ecuadorian at left-back and he put in a decent shift.
