Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – 5/10 – his poor communication with William Saliba nearly led to a Liverpool goal. He didn’t need to rush out, and while he dealt well with the back pass, it nearly led to Conor Bradley finding the back of the net with a chip. Fortunately for Raya, the shot hit the bar.
RB – Jurrien Timber – 6/10 – got in behind the Liverpool defence several times but his deliveries were poor.
CB – William Saliba – 5/10 – his heavy back pass nearly led to a Liverpool goal. He was, though, pretty comfortable other than that error.
CB – Gabriel – 6/10 – it was a decent showing from the Brazilian, who didn’t really have anyone to mark with Arsenal’s opponents playing with a false nine.
LB – Piero Hincapie – 5/10 – the Ecuadorian struggled with his passing at times, and he then went off injured early in the second half.
