Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – David Raya – 8/10 – the Spaniard was Arsenal’s best player, making some big saves. He stopped a deflected corner from going in, as well as a dangerous cross from Alejandro Garnacho.

RB – Jurrien Timber – 8/10 – the defender is not known for his attacking play, but he was constantly overlapping for Bukayo Saka, and he came up with the crucial header for the winner.

CB – William Saliba – 7/10 – scored the opener but the Frenchman looked very nervous on the ball. He passed straight to Cole Palmer at one point, but it didn’t lead to a chance, luckily for him.

CB – Gabriel – 8/10 – had a running battle with Pedro, which he just about came out on top of. Also got the assist for Saliba’s opener.

LB – Piero Hincapie – 5/10 – tried to get forward as much as possible, but he failed to provide any end product. He also conceded an own goal with a very poor headed clearance.
