Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta emphasised that his team are only at the halfway point of the tie, but the 3-2 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge has made the Gunners big favourites to progress to the final of the Carabao Cup.

An early Ben White goal from a corner gave the away side a strong platform before Viktor Gyokeres tapped home five minutes after the break to double their lead.

Substitute Alejandro Garnacho got Chelsea back in it, but a fine strike from Martin Zubimendi restored the visitors’ two-goal advantage. Arteta’s men were, however, pegged back again by another Garnacho goal before full-time.
