Arsenal are very keen on signing Sassuolo attacking midfielder Hamed Junior Traore, according to reports in the English media.

It is claimed that Gunners scouts have been very impressed by what they have seen of the 20-year-old this season, and the London club are said to be considering offering £20m for the Ivorian international.

There are, though, two major problems that Arsenal will need to overcome for a move to go ahead. Traore is currently on a two-year loan at Sassuolo from Empoli and will sign on a permanent basis at the end of next season.

It means that the Gunners will have to wait until the summer of 2021 before they can make a bid. Even then, there is one other stumbling block to overcome.

Serie A champions Juventus reportedly have a first option on Traore, which means they will be notified of any bid from Arsenal if Sassuolo choose to accept it.
