Arsenal Place £10m Price Tag On Carl Jenkinson

Carl Jenkinson could be in for a permanent move to West Ham after Wenger seems to have the right side of the defense already figured out. With Chambers and Bellerin being younger than Jenkinson and with Debucy being transferred as a permanent replacement for Sagna, the 23 year old has little to no chance of finding his place at Emirates. According to the Daily Mail he could be subject of a £10million transfer which is what the Arsenal request for the right back. It is yet to be determined if Allardyce is willing to pay that much for a defender despite the fact that Jenkinson seems to have integrated himself perfectly in West Ham’s lot.

One of the club’s co-owners hinted towards a possible move by Arsenal’s player but did not seem determined to pay £10million for him. Even though he made a joke about the clause that does not allow Jenkinson to play against Arsenal and said that maybe things will change next season, it is still early to tell what will happen.

Arsenal could take advantage of this situation and push for Winston Reid who was on Wenger’s list this winter. Despite just signing a contract with West Ham until 2021, it could still be a possibility to see the New Zealand international join the Emirates Side.
