Arsenal One Of Three Clubs To Make Enquiry For Ex Manchester United Player

Arsenal, West Ham and Juventus have all registered their interest in Barcelona forward Memphis Depay, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The Dutchman only made the switch to the Camp Nou last summer but Barca are keen on raising funds for the summer transfer window.

Depay has been in and out of the starting lineup since the appointment of Xavi as manager and, with the club pursuing Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, it appears that the ex-Manchester United star will be let go for a reasonable fee in the coming weeks.

It must be said that the 28-year-old hasn’t had a bad season by any stretch of the imagination, having racked up 13 goals and two assists in 37 appearances, so he would undoubtedly be a decent addition if the Gunners were to secure his signature.

Depay’s ability to play right across the front three would also make him a great asset for manager Mikel Arteta who is keen to strengthen his forward line.
