Arsenal On Alert With Club Keen To Sell Serbian Hitman In January Amid Fears Of 25.4M Drop In Valuation

Fiorentina are seriously considering selling striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window, according to the Corriere Della Sera.

The Italian newspaper claims that the Viola fear that, if they leave it any longer, his asking price would have to be lowered from €70m (£59.2m) to €40m (£33.8m) due to his contract situation.

Vlahovic’s current deal with the Serie A side expires in 2023 and negotiations over an extension have failed to make any progress, prompting speculation about a potential transfer.

The Corriere Della Sera name eight clubs who are interested in the 21-year-old, including Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham, Juventus, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.

Juve and Milan are both deemed to be his likeliest destinations currently, with it being said that Vlahovic would prefer to stay in Italy if he had a choice, but it depends who can meet the player’s valuation.

Vlahovic has been in superb form so far this campaign, with the Serbian international having bagged 12 goals in 14 appearances for Fiorentina.
