Arsenal Offered Chance To Sign Three Time Champions League Winner On Free Transfer

The representatives of Real Madrid wide man Lucas Vazquez have offered the player to both Arsenal and Tottenham, according to reports in the English media.

The 29-year-old, who has won the Champions League on three occasions, is likely to leave the Bernabeu on a free transfer in the summer when his contract expires.

Vazquez has reportedly asked his agents to find him a club in the Premier League, but the Gunners are said to have been put off by the Spaniard’s contract demands.

He is believed to be asking for a four-year deal, and with the player turning 30 in July, it would effectively mean handing him a contract that would see him stay at the Emirates until he is 34.

Vazquez has been in good form this season, scoring two goals and providing seven assists in 31 appearances, with the majority of his matches being played as a fullback, but the length of contract he is asking for doesn’t make him an attractive option.
