It is well know that Wenger has the habit of moving very slowly when it comes to transfers. This might cost the Frenchman yet another top player who is currently available for about £7million which is a bargain.

The Ivorian is a great overall defender who can also perform in front of the goalkeeper. He is versatile and strong which is exactly what Arsenal need. One other great characteristic that helps this player is his impeccable health. He was never injured despite being a team regular for Toulouse.
