1) Zubimendi looked assured on and off the ball
The midfielder’s move to the Emirates has been a long time coming, considering the transfer was first mooted all the way back in January.
Zubimendi isn’t the most physically gifted but he is technically superb in possession and he passed it around with great assurance after replacing Norgaard at halftime.
You can see why Arteta wanted to bring the 26-year-old in, as his ability to increase the tempo was apparent.
Of course, it remains to be seen how Zubimendi will cope in the Premier League, where he will have considerably less time to offload the ball.
