1) Creating Chances for fun

According to Understat, the Gunners racked up an xG of 4.17 against the Seagulls.

Considering the number of chances that Mikel Arteta’s side created, that’s not a surprise. As well as the three goals, Gabriel, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus all had decent opportunities in the first half prior to the opener.

Since the New Year, the team have been scoring goals for fun but, up until recently, they were actually creating fewer openings but still being clinical.

Now, Arsenal are also piling on the xG and that can only be a good thing as they look to secure victories during the run-in.
