Arsenal were very much second-best against an excellent Paris Saint-Germain team on Tuesday evening.
The early goal for the visitors set the tone for the entire match, with the Gunners chasing shadows.
It was certainly not all one-way traffic and there were moments when Mikel Arteta’s side could have got back into the game, most notably when Leandro Trossard was sent through on goal in the second half.
However, for the most part, they lacked any real cutting edge in the final third, which has been a common failing throughout the season.
