Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – 6/10 – remarkably, it was the Spaniard’s first Premier League clean sheet in two months. In truth, though, he wasn’t ever really tested.
RB – Jurrien Timber – 7/10 – did well when joining the attack on the right-hand side. Had a goal chalked off for offside.
CB William Saliba – 8/10 – won the battle against Taiwo Awoniyi which takes some doing. The Frenchman was also classy in possession.
CB – Gabriel – 6/10 – a solid if not spectacular performance from the centre-back. He did well against Awoniyi when required.
LB – Riccardo Calaifiori – 6/10 – the Italian got 65 minutes in his legs after a month out, and he stood up to the challenge against Anthony Elanga.
