Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – 9/10 – made three superb saves in the second half from Noussair Mazraoui, Joshua Zirkzee and Bruno Fernandes to stop United scoring a second.
RB – Jurrien Timber – 7/10 – the Dutchman has been getting forward more often in recent games and he provided the assist for Rice’s goal.
CB – William Saliba – 6/10 – the centre-back got rolled once by Zirkzee early in the second half but he kept the striker quiet for the most part.
CB – Gabriel – 7/10 – put in a vital late challenge on Rasmus Hojlund who looked destined to score from a cutback.
LB – Riccardo Calafiori – 5/10 – the 22-year-old looked decent going forward, but he struggled to deal with Alejandro Garnacho.
