GK – David Raya – 8/10 – made an outstanding save from Josko Gvardiol, tipping the Croatian’s header onto the bar. The Spaniard also did well to keep out a deflected effort from Savinho.
RB – Jurrien Timber – 7/10 – the fullback got booked midway through the first half but he didn’t let that affect him.
CB – William Saliba – 6/10 – a fine performance from the France international was sullied somewhat by his failure to mark Haaland for his goal.
CB – Gabriel – 8/10 – the centre-back won his duels and made a couple of important blocks. He was solid as ever.
LB – Myles Lewis-Skelly – 9/10 – scored his first senior goal to cap off an excellent all-round performance.
