Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Neto – 3/10 – the Brazilian looked very rusty. Nearly gave the ball away with his first touch before being caught out of position for Arnaut Danjuma’s opening goal.

RB – Thomas Partey – 5/10 – it was a very erratic half of football from the 31-year-old, who lost Danjuma for Girona’s goal before winning a penalty at the other end.

CB – Jakub Kiwior – 4/10 – the Polish international looked shaky. He moved way too high up the pitch for Danjuma’s goal and he also failed to mark Cristian Stuani whose strike was ruled out for offside in the build-up.

CB – Gabriel – 7/10 – the centre-back was untroubled all evening defensively. However, he could have arguably scored from one or two corners at the other end.

LB – Riccardo Calafiori – 6/10 – still needs to work on his defending but the Italian was lively in the final third, having a goal ruled out early on after making his run too early.
