Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – 8/10 – did have some trouble playing out from the back but he made several excellent saves – notably from Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta.
RB – Jurrien Timber – 6/10 – a solid defensive performance from the Dutchman who didn’t get forward as much as usual.
CB – William Saliba – 4/10 – one of the centre-back’s worst performances of the season. Stood off Sarr before the Palace winger scored and then had to be bailed out by Raya after he gave away the ball when the score was still 2-1.
CB – Gabriel – 7/10 – played a part in two of the goals and also hit the bar with a header. Not perfect defensively but better than Saliba.
LB – Myles Lewis-Skelly – 7/10 – looks very composed despite only being 18 years of age.
