EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal ‘Invincible’ Singles Out Summer Signing Who Will Be A “Fantastic Addition” To Arteta’s Squad

Ex-Arsenal defender Lauren believes that Eberechi Eze is “exactly” what his former club needs.

Speaking exclusively to Gooner News (courtesy of AceOdds.com), the Invincible praised the arrival of the England international, who joined the Gunners for £67.5m last week:

“The Eze signing, as well as the other signings, I can see that they are aligned between [Andrea] Berta and [Mikel] Arteta. They are signing exactly what we need.”

“I believe that Eze can play multiple positions and we need a player like that. He is a fantastic addition.”

Eze’s creative spark could give the Gunners the edge

The 27-year-old scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 43 appearances for Crystal Palace last season, and that ability to create a chance out of nothing could be key for Mikel Arteta’s side.

They have struggled to break down opponents over the past twelve months, especially those who sit in a low block, and Eze’s arrival could help the team turn draws into victories.

One of the reasons Arsenal fell so far behind Liverpool last season was their failure to secure wins in tight games. Eze’s presence may end up being the difference this time around.

When will Eze make his debut for Arsenal?

There is a good chance that Eze will be on the bench (at the very least) for the trip to Anfield this weekend. Considering captain Martin Odegaard is a doubt for the match due to a shoulder injury, there is even a possibility that he will start against the reigning champions.

After being released by the club at the age of 13, it will be a very special moment for Eze when he does take to the field for the first time in an Arsenal shirt. He will undoubtedly be very keen to make a big impression.
