Arsenal Star Bukayo Saka Reveals “Best Mate” Gunners Signing And Says Arsenal Can Win The Title

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has said in an interview who his best mate is at the club, and that he thinks they can win the league this season.

The Gunners have had arguably the dream start to the new Premier League season. They have won seven out of their nine games, and have conceded just three goals so far. Mikel Arteta‘s side are top of the league, and have a four-point lead over Bournemouth in second.

Furthermore, both Liverpool and Man City lost at the weekend, making Arsenal the clear favourites to go on and win the league title this season. It feels like their best chance under Arteta, and the key players are going to have to be at their best to make sure the Gunners pull it off.

One of those best players has to be winger Bukayo Saka, who has made over 270 appearances for the Gunners since coming through the academy at Hale End. Saka has scored 73 goals, and provided 71 assists for Arteta, and believes that the Gunners can go on and win the league title this season.

Saka hails new signing Eze and says Arsenal can win the league

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Saka revealed that Eberechi Eze was his best mate in the England squad, so he was delighted that Arsenal signed the midfielder in the summer transfer window. He was asked about how well Eze has fit into the squad at the Emirates.

Saka said: “Eze is my best mate in the England squad. He’s fitted in like a glove [at Arsenal]. He’s happy, he’s playing and he’s playing very well as well which is important.

“So, I’m happy to have him at Arsenal, and having a player that wants to be here, and loves the club. He’s going to give everything for this club and that’s what we need.”

Furthermore, Saka was also asked whether this was the season for Arsenal to win the league, and he seemed very confident in his fellow players. “This year I feel we’re a very strong group,” he added, “we’ve got a lot of quality…it’s making me really believe that we can do it.”
