Sheffield United gave Odegaard the freedom of the Bramall Lane pitch to do what he wanted and he dominated the game as a result.

He thrived in the space he was afforded by his opponents and he was unlucky not to get more goals and assists.

There is an argument for saying that the Gunners have never spent better money than the £30m they paid Real Madrid for Odegaard.
