The Gunners looked a bit unorganised at points against City who won the game comfortably even if the scoreline did flatter them a bit. No one could predict 9 goals were going to be scored on Saturday even though the Citizens have one of the best strikerforces in the World. Arsenal’s defense was disjointed for periods having trouble with many attacking runs their opponents made. Wenger’s side not only lost the game but also lost Koscielny who had to leave the pitch after a horrifying injury.

Looking back on the game, now that the dust has settled, the weekend with all of its results showed that the Premier League is totally up for grabs and while Man City look like the favourites, if they continue to stumble on the road then the other teams like Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are in with a serious shout for the title.

Arsenal looked good at points on Saturday and at others they looked disorganised and panicked. The most important thing now is how they react and they have the week to prepare for Chelsea at the Emirates. Based on Saturday, clearly Theo Walcott must play as he looked dangerous and can certainly cause the Chelsea back four all kinds of problems with his pace and as long as the rest of the team gives a strong response, I expect Arsenal to deliver a disciplined performance and I will go out on a limb and predict a 2-1 scoreline.
