Arsenal Named As One Of Seven Clubs Who Are Tracking ‘Next Milinkovic Savic’

Arsenal are interested in Vojvodina Novi Sad attacking midfielder Dejan Zukic, according to the Daily Star. The Gunners will, though, have to fight off a number of other teams in order to secure the Serbian’s signature.

Tottenham are believed to be leading the race for the 19-year-old, with the likes of Inter Milan, Olympiakos, Everton, Southampton and Leicester City also watching the player.


Zukic has been likened to fellow countryman Sergey Milinkovic-Savic and while he has yet to reach the heights of the Lazio midfielder, he has certainly impressed at club level this season.

He scored two goals on his first start against Javor-Matis following Serbian football’s return to action earlier this month, and he has bagged six goals in 29 appearances this campaign.

Although Zukic does generally play as a number 10, he can also be utilised as a centre-forward, as well as a left-winger, which will no doubt please head coach Mikel Arteta who likes players who can play in a number of positions.
