Arsenal Must Steal Remy From Newcastle – He is The Perfect Alternative To Giroud?

Arsenal Must Steal Remy From Newcastle – He is The Perfect Alternative To Giroud?

According to Metro, Arsenal have registered interest in Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, and hence locked horns with Newcastle United for a permanent transfer.

Remy came to England in last season’s winter window, after picking Rangers over Newcastle in a controversial turn of events. However, with Rangers’ eventual relegation to the Championship, Remy made a summer loan move to St. James Park with the objective of staying in the Barclays Premier League while his parent club tries to secure top flight promotion. The Frenchman has performed exceptionally for Alan Pardew in the first half of the campaign, but has lost his scoring touch in recent times.

Arsene Wenger has been hunting for a striker who can guarantee goals and work rate, and Remy’s 11 league goals for Newcastle have proven his credentials to the manager. Rangers will be looking for a fee of £9 million to let the former Marseille man leave, and with the inflated prices in the market for notable strikers, Remy offers a good solution for Wenger. Without the lure of any European prospects, it seems unlikely that the 27-year old will opt to stay in the North-East when he could join the Champions League with Arsenal and truly be competing for trophies at a top side and playing with some of Europe’s very best talents.

Remy is going to find it hard to resist the Emirates if Wenger is prepared to meet Newcastle United’s valuation as the Frenchman should join the le boss and would provide a different option to Giroud with his ability to make runs in behind with his explosive runs and finishes.

BRING REMY TO ARSENAL PLEASE ARSENE! Can you tell we think he will be a success at the Emirates.
