Arsenal Monitoring Scottish Assist Maker Ahead Of Possible Bargain Summer Deal

Arsenal remain interested in Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, according to the Mirror. The Scottish international’s contract expires at the end of the season and he will be available on a free transfer.

One potential sticking point, however, is how the Premier League deals with expiring contracts if the global health crisis forces the season to be delayed beyond June 30th.

It is believed that the PFA is in talks about trying to find a solution where deals can be extended for the short term, and that will have knock-on effect in regards to Bosman signings.

Even so, that delay is unlikely to put off the Gunners if Fraser doesn’t commit to a longer-term contract at Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old has not had a particularly productive season, having scored just one goal and laid on only four assists in 28 league games, but his eight goals and 15 assists in his previous campaign for the Cherries may have persuaded Arsenal into making a move for him.
