Arsenal Might Sell Despite Injury Problems

Arsenal will have to brace themselves for the January transfer window as Inter plan on offering two players deals which probably come with the promise that they will play a lot more often than they did at the Emirates. Podolski and Joel Campbell could leave London after being repeatedly set aside by Wenger. Both players have expressed their disappointment with the fact that they were not given enough chances to prove themselves. Podolski was on the verge of leaving but decided to stay after Walcott picked up a long term injury. Campbell was almost sold this summer but the deal fell through due to financial incompatibilities between the parties involved.

With that in mind, both players are basically waiting for an offer. Continuing with Arsenal has become a second option if you consider the time spent on the bench by the two. Even though Podolski is older than Campbell, he still seems determined and eager to play a lot more. Campbell was hoping to finally make his mark on Arsenal’s game. Unfortunately for him Sanchez came to London this summer and left little to no chance for the 22 year old to perform on a regular basis.

Inter look the closest to taking advantage of this situation. The Italians who are currently re-building, will surely come up with interesting offers that will look appealing to both Campbell and Podolski. According to Metro, the two could be part of a package deal if Wenger decides he no longer needs their services.
