Arsenal Might Land Remy Despite His Aspirations To Join Chelsea

QPR’s Loic Remy who moved to the UK in 2013 just ended his Newcastle loan and is preparing to rejoin his team who return to the Premier League after spending a year in England’s second division. The 27 year old had a great season managing to score 14 goals in 24 matches. He has become one of the most sought after players for next season after proving he has what it takes to handle the pressure of English football. According to Metro, Tottenham have beaten Arsenal in making the first bid for Remy whose agents have just opened talks with the Gunners.

There might be a problem in securing the Frenchman’s signature though, as a French newspaper revealed, Remy’s dream is to perform for Chelsea. Unfortunately for him it is hard to believe he will be able to replace either of the Blues’ current team regulars. With that in mind he could very well take the step to a bigger club despite his fondness for the Stamford Bridge side. Valued at £10 million he could be a great addition to Wenger’s side especially considering his versatility. The 27 year old can be played as both a winger and a central striker having similar qualities to that of Walcott. He is fast but has the advantage of being a bit stronger in his one on one duels.
