The representatives of Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi are scrambling to find the France Under 21 international a new club before the transfer window shuts, according to L’Equipe.

The French newspaper claims that the 21-year-old remains in “open conflict” with manager Mikel Arteta and he is keen to move away from the Emirates. There was speculation that the player could make the switch to Marseille on loan but those rumours have been rubbished by the Ligue One club.

It is thought that Guendouzi does have a number of major suitors in the Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga but there isn’t one club that has been named as the favourite to secure his signature before deadline day.

The Gunners would like to have the Frenchman off their books as soon as possible so they can use the proceeds from his sale on new signings but, as things stand, there is no certainty that he’ll leave the London club.
