Despite being one of Real’s most important players, Angel Di Maria might end up at the Emirates after the World Cup in Brazil. The Argentinian recently admitted to not being 100% sure of his future in Madrid. Arsenal might take advantage of this situation and try reuniting Di Maria with former colleague, Mesut Ozil. Di Maria was one of the players who did not agree with the German international’s departure. Putting them back together could really improve the Gunners’ game. According to the Daily Mail, Di Maria seemed a bit insecure about his future collaboration with Real, hinting that the Spanish side might be interested in selling him this summer.

Apparently there are several teams who can match Real’s financial demands which means it is up to them to decide if the Argentinian stays or leaves. Despite his incredible performances in his last two seasons, Real would have probably sold Di Maria if not for Ozil’s transfer. It seems that the Spaniards have the tendency to sacrifice some of their players for new arrivals. This is what happened to Ozil when Bale signed with Real and things might unfold the same way if Suarez or Aguero are offered a deal this summer. Hopefully for Arsenal, Di Maria will be up for grabs. The midfielder is valued at about the same price as Ozil so the Gunners will have no trouble meeting Real’s financial expectations. With Di Maria on the left and with a new striker next to Giroud Arsenal could really increase their chance of winning another trophy next year.
