Arsenal Make Approach For £100m Rated Brazilian Whose “Prime Objective” Is To Play In The Premier League

Arsenal have made an enquiry for Barcelona attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to the Mirror. The Gunners are said to be keen on taking the Brazilian on loan next season.

The London club are, however, not the only team looking at the 27-year-old with Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham also having made similar approaches for the former Liverpool player.

Coutinho’s “prime objective” is to return to the Premier League, the Mirror claims, with the midfielder having admitted to friends that he should have never left England.

The Brazilian international is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but the German club have signalled they will not take up their option to sign him for £100m in the summer.

Barca are said to be keen on selling Coutinho outright at the end of the season, but all the enquiries from English clubs have been loan offers, which the La Liga champions may well reject.
