Arsenal Looking To Transfer Chelsea Striker Romelu Lukaku

Arsenal could catch an unexpected break as Belgium international, Romelu Lukaku hinted towards a possible move to the Emirates. Despite not directly referring to the Gunners, Chelsea’s striker told the press that he will want to transfer to a club which has the same goals as the Blues. Out of Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal which are always title contender? The Gunners are the only ones looking for a striker at the moment which means Emirates could be Lukaku’s only destination. According to Metro, the 21 year old striker is no longer interested in leaving on loan and will want to determine what his future holds.

With Wenger still in Brazil, transfer talks are yet to unfold. Apparently Arsenal will have to battle Tottenham for Lukaku who made Spurs’ list after a great set of performances in the Premier League and some decent showings in the World Cup competition especially when coming on as a substitute.

It seems that Lukaku’s departure is inevitable as Chelsea have yet to speak with the Belgian about his future. The youngster was never given the chance to perform as a team regular for the Blues who for no particular reason seemed to favor Torres or Demba Ba over the 21 year old who was one of the Premier League’s best strikers. While on loan with WBA and Everton, Lukaku made a great impression managing to score a lot of goals compared to Chelsea’s 2013-2014 attacking line who had an incredibly low scoring rate.
