Arsenal might help Eto’o fulfill his prediction where he insisted he will continue fighting for both the Champions League and the Premier League despite leaving Chelsea. The Cameroonian who left the Blues at the end of last season might get a last chance to perform at the highest level possible. With Bendtner out and with few attacking prospects, Arsenal might bring in the 33 year old who managed some excellent performances while playing under Mourinho.

Wenger will have some competition though in signing Eto’o. According to the Daily Express, Everton are also interested in bringing in the Cameroonian international who is getting ready for what will probably be his last World Cup tournament. Even though Arsenal have always been a more youngster oriented club, Eto’o’s experience might come in handy during tough moments.

The problem with Eto’o is that he will more than likely want to be part of a team’s starting eleven. That is close to impossible at Emirates considering Giroud’s excellent form and also Arsenal’s playing style.
