Arsenal may have a good chance of signing 20 year old midfielder Nabil Bentaleb who is growing considerably tired of the long streak of negotiations that have been going down between Tottenham and his agent. The Algerian who has been with the Spurs since the 2012-2013 season has signed a deal which keeps him at the club until 2018 but is unhappy with the terms and conditions and would like to get an increase in pay which will probably come with a contract extension as well.

According to Squawka, Even though Bentaleb was introduced to Premier League football by Tottenham, the 9month  long negotiations that started back in September could make any player think twice. This could give Wenger the chance to swoop in and snatch the young talent who has already made 55 appearances for the Spurs. The Algerian international will also be interested in Arsenal due to the possibility of performing in the Champions League. With the Gunners’ lot always in trouble, the 20 year old DM could definitely get the chance of becoming a team regular. Unfortunately there could be a downside to this transfer as Bentaleb has already suffered a malleolar injury that kept him away from the pitch for 40 days last season. Even though it is not the end of the world, it would be best for Arsenal to make sure they sign someone they could actually use throughout the entire length of the season. Finding a player who is highly durable is hard but not impossible. That should be one of the main things to look for in a possible transfer next to talent.
