It seems that Arsenal have had three major targets for this summer, all of which could be coming to Emirates Stadium before the end of the week. With Sanchez’s move complete, and with Debuchy announcing his move to North London, Remy is the only one left to confirm his arrival. According to Metro, he will leave QPR after Wenger decided to pay the £8million clause stipulated in the Frenchman’s contract with the Rangers. After an impressive season with Newcastle where he spent a year on loan, Remy proved to be well adapted to Premier League football which is a key characteristic in Wenger’s transfer plans. The Gunners are looking to sign a player who can start playing immediately and will not need time to adjust to the Premier League and Remy fits the bill.

Remy returned from the World Cup and is the only one who can come between QPR and Arsenal, considering the two have no problem agreeing on a transfer fee. The 27 year old would be a great partner for Giround who was repeatedly left all on his own in front of goal.

Remy is quite a versatile player who can be used both as a striker and as a winger. He has a similar profile to that of Walcott with the sole difference that the Frenchman is played on both the left and the right side of the ptch.
