Arsenal Look To Solve Their Goalscoring Problems By Targeting 8 Goal Ligue One Ace

Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Stade de Reims forward Boulaye Dia, according to Le10 Sport. The French publication reports that the Gunners have joined Everton, Marseille and Lyon in the race for the 24-year-old.

The Senegalese international has scored eight goals in just 12 Ligue One appearances this season, and it appears Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is targeting him as a potential solution to their issues up front.

Dia is capable of playing as a winger or through the middle of the pitch and that flexibility would certainly help his chances of getting into the Gunners’ starting line up if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to start centrally.

The club captain may be struggling for goals at the moment but, even if he does return to form, Arteta needs to add more firepower around him in order to take some of the burden for scoring off his shoulders.
