Arsenal and Liverpool shared the points at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon in what was a crucial top-of-the-table clash in the Premier League. 

The Gunners took the lead through Bukayo Saka before Virgil Van Dijk equalised. Midfielder Mikel Merino then gave Arsenal the lead again after 43 minutes before halftime.

Following that, Liverpool managed to equalise again through Mo Salah in the 81st minute making the game a 2-2 draw in which both teams will feel like they could have won.

Elsewhere, Manchester City overtook Liverpool in the table after a 1-0 win over Southampton. However, Manchester United and Spurs both lost against West Ham and Crystal Palace, the latter earning their first win of the season.

United boss Erik Ten Hag has been sacked after the poor West Ham trip putting the future at United up in arms yet again.
