Arsenal are interested in signing Valencia winger Carlos Soler, according to reports from Spain.
The Spanish Under 21 international began to establish himself in the first team in the second half of the 2016/17 season and has become a regular starter under manager Marcelino.
Soler has started this campaign in good form. Just before the international break, he provided both assists in Valencia’s 2-2 draw away at Levante.
Last season, he didn’t always offer an end product, with just one goal and five assists to his name in all competitions. Still, he is an emerging talent, and at the age of 21, Gunners chief scout Sven Mislintat will surely have him on his radar.
Considering Arsenal boss Unai Emery is a former Valencia head coach, it is safe to assume as well that the Spaniard would have kept an eye on his former club and would have seen the emergence of Soler over the last eighteen months.
