Wenger is looking to sign 22 year old sensation, Marcelo Brozovic. The Frenchman seems interested in bringing in the midfielder who is still under contract until 2019. Brozovic who has just made his national debut this summer, has improved immensely over the past year. He is now one of the most promising targets on Arsenal’s list. The problem with the Croatian international is that he seems to have some small health issues which have been bothering him during the 2013-2014 season. Apparently he had to be benched for about two and a half months due to some unknown injuries which put his development on hold.

Brozovic is a very talented player but is also well aware of the tough competition he will have to face at the Emirates. Despite his ability to play at several positions, he will still have to fight with Wilshere, Ramsey and Arteta for a spot in the team. All of those names will be part of the club for a long time which means the 22 year old Croatian will either have to step up his game or choose a different path.

According to Metro, Brozovic impressed just enough to squeeze £7m out of the North Londoners who are already putting in their second offer. If the Croatian comes to the Emirates, he could play next to Krystian Bielik who is also on Wenger’s extended list of possible newcomers.
