Arsenal are interested in signing Ajax winger David Neres, according to reports in Brazil.

Tottenham and AC Milan are also said to be keen on the Brazilian international, while Roma and Borussia Dortmund reportedly made bids for the midfielder last summer.

Due to the interest being shown in Neres, Ajax are believed to have put a price tag on the player for between €70m (£60m) and €80m (£69m).

The Gunners reportedly have a limited transfer budget so whether the 22-year-old’s asking price would put them off, we shall have to wait and see.

With the London club having been linked with a whole host of wingers in recent weeks, including most recently Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser, it seems clear that Unai Emery is keen to strengthen his options out wide.

Neres could be a decent choice. He has had a very good season in the Eredivisie, having scored eight goals and provided ten assists in 25 league appearances so far this campaign.
